The God Squad: Psalm 27 and the burning of America
Q: When you asked about favorite psalms, my first thought was how to narrow down such a wealth of worship and expression of the wonder of God! Still one particular psalm that I return to again and again for grounding me in the love of God and His love for me as His child is Psalm 27. No matter what or who I am facing, I can rely on the Lord to see me through any circumstance. His goodness to me is manifested is so many ways. He is truly the stronghold of my life and the source of any light that is in me. I am forever His! -- E
Psalm 27
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked advance against me
to devour[a] me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.
