Q: With a renewed interest in space exploration, could we be on the verge of receiving messages from other planets and maybe even seeing other forms of life from worlds beyond? – S.E.

A: Many scientists have theorized that there’s life on other planets. Their hope is to use advanced technology to communicate with life beyond, to catch a message from somewhere in space.

We’ve already had a message from space – from the heavens above. People are intrigued to think there may be voices from the unknown but reject the voice that has made Himself known to the world. The Bible speaks and says, “For God so loved the world.” Are you listening? He is saying, “I love you, whoever you are, whatever your circumstances—I love you!”

The very first verse in the Bible assures us that God so loved the world, because in the first place, God spoke the world into existence, creating the heavens and the earth. And He said, “Let there be light.” God is not just the Creator of the world; He is the Master Communicator – the very Word of God: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1, NKJV). For God in the darkness said, “‘Let there be light’; and there was light” (Genesis 1:3, NKJV).

God has revealed what He has done for this world by giving the world His Son, Jesus. Yet many people reject Him in spite of what He has done for each person who has ever lived. If you are hearing God’s words, you can receive Him today. Every human being must face this question: What do I believe about Christ? We must answer this question with belief and action. We must accept Him or reject Him. Do not go on in agony between belief and unbelief. Settle things with Jesus today.
