(UPI) An Idaho man on a quest to become the top Guinness World Record-breaker in the world added a 166th concurrent title to his name by throwing and catching a fire sword 73 times in 30 seconds.

David Rush, who has broken more than 250 Guinness World Records and currently holds 166 titles, previously set the 1-minute version of the record for the most throws and catches of a fire sword at 136, but his initial attempt at the 30-second record was disqualified.

Rush renewed his efforts to capture the title and, despite singing the hair from the back of his hand, managed to throw and catch the flaming sword 73 times in 30 seconds, breaking the previous record of 60.

Rush's 166th Guinness World Records title brings him a step closer to overtaking Silvio Sabba, who currently holds 180 titles.
