TEAYS VALLEY, W.Va. (UPI) -- Authorities in West Virginia said a driver gave new meaning to "drive-through" when they crashed their vehicle through the door of a Wendy's restaurant.

The Putnam County Sheriff's official Facebook page said the driver fell asleep at the wheel while traveling on West Virginia Route 34 in Teays Valley and the vehicle veered across the northbound lanes of traffic and over a curb.

The vehicle crossed the Wendy's parking lot before crashing into the entrance and exit doors, ending up lodged in the doorway and part of a brick wall.

The driver, who was not injured, was found not to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, deputies said.

There were no injuries resulting from the crash, but the building "suffered significant damage."
