Played at Hastings in 1892 1...Qa6 2.g4 2.Bxa6 Nxa2# 2...Qxa2 3.Be3 3.Be1 Rfe8 4.Bxa2 Nxa2+ 5.Kd2 Rad8+ 6.Qd3 Rxd3+ 7.Kc2 Rxc3+ 8.Kd2 Rc2# 3...Bxc3 White resigned because of 4.Bxa2 Nxa2#
