Today’s position is a great lesson in attacking a kingside castled position. White’s position looks solid, but has a weakness, and White spotted it.


The game Gipslis-Pusketts, Berlin went this way-- 1.Bxh6 gxh6 2.d5 If right away 2.Qxh6, then Black defends with 2…Qh5) 2…Nxd5 3.Qxh6 Nf6 4.Ng5 Ne5 5.Bh7+ Kh8 6.Bg6+ Kg8 7.Bxf7+ Nxf7 8.Qg6+ and mate next move.
