An easy one for a Monday morning, from the same book at last Friday. White has to figure out how to draw. Good one for kids.


1.Kf6 g4 2.Kg6 g3 2...Kg8 3.h7+ Kh8 4.Kh6 g3 5.Kg6 g2 6.Kh6 g1=Q 3.h7 g2 4.Kh6 g1=Q stalemate! Underpromoting can’t mate either.
