This was a correspondence game, so White had some time to figure it all out.

If you were thinking about the two bishop sacrifice we covered recently, that doesn’t work here: 1.Bxh7+ Kxh7 2.Qh5+ Kg8 3.Bxg7 Kxg7 4.Qg5+ Kf8 5.Nf4 Re7 6.Qh6+ Ke8 7.Qh8+ Kd7 8.Qxa8 Kc7. 1...Kxg7 2.Qf6+ Kf8 Equally losing is 2...Kg8 3.Bxh7+ Kxh7 4.Rf4. 3.Nd4 Qd6 4.Nf5 and it’s over.
