I was looking through a British Chess Magazine volume from 2010 when I saw this position and just laughed. I instantly saw the solution because it’s perfect for a puzzle. One move and White resigned.


Black, Stellwagen, in 2010 Olympiad uncorked this crowd pleaser against Jimenez: 1…Re2+. It’s over. White resigned. I don’t know if he laughed.
