Mikhail Chigorin was a brilliant attacking player of the classical era. His handling of the Evans Gambit was instructive to all of us. Just give this guy control of the center, and he calmly goes about his business, not worrying about being a pawn down. Thus, the whole game is given here. Black played very well, so it's not some easy run over a patzer.
