We haven’t done endgames in a while, so here’s one that’s pretty elemental, but still requires some thought.


Solution:

The question is—did you consider the knight fork and the loss of the bishop? 1.Kg5 Nf2 2.h4 Ne4+ 3.Kg6 Nxd6 4.h5 and the pawn can’t be stopped.
