3 seen exiting manhole near NYC hotel where Netanyahu staying for UN General Assembly

NEW YORK — Three people were seen early Wednesday emerging from a Park Avenue manhole near the Upper East Side hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be staying during the United Nations General Assembly, police said.
The trio fled in two vehicles uptown on Park Avenue and have not been caught, cops said.
There was no indication of a threat against against Netanyahu, who is scheduled to address the General Assembly on Thurdsay.
The underground trespassing is the latest is a string of such incidents that police believe is the work of urban explorers.
In this instance, police were called to the scene at Park Avenue and East 61st Street about 4:35 a.m.
Police believe the trespassers had gone underground a short time earlier through a subway access gate at East 63rd Street and Fifth Avenue.
