Donald Trump Jr.'s wedding was just put on hold. What we know

Trouble in Palm Beach paradise?
We heard Bettina Anderson’s garden-themed bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago went swimmingly. But as far as her wedding to Donald Trump Jr., all bets are off.
According to widespread media reports, their nuptials, which were originally thought to be on the fast track, are now on pause.
Sources close to the couple blame the ongoing Iran war, led by President Donald Trump.
Insiders told The Daily Mail that the “Triggered” author, 48, and socialite, 39, want to wait until things quiet down overseas because a fancy ceremony seems “out of step.” So far, 13 military service members have died in the conflict.
Even if there is a peaceful resolution, neither party wants anything too splashy or over the top, apparently.
“It may be very, very intimate, extremely intimate,” the individual added. “Just family. But only when it’s appropriate.”
So where will Jr. and Anderson potentially tie the knot?
Though the divorced father of five popped the question at presidential retreat Camp David in Maryland, and revealed their engagement at the White House, the blessed event likely won’t take place on taxpayer-funded property.
As per Rob Shutter’s gossipy Substack “Naughty But Nice,” the first son’s second wedding wasn’t “important enough” to make the cut.
“In his father’s mind, the White House stage is reserved for moments that elevate him and the Trump brand,” an insider close to the situation said. “This doesn’t do either.”
So back to Mar-a-Lago they go? Maybe, maybe not. Because that’s where the businessman married Vanessa Haydon back in 2005, and Anderson may want a clean slate.
That said, whatever Jr. decides, the bride-to-be will likely go along in her role as trad wife, according to People magazine.
“She lets him take the lead,” a source told the outlet. “She will follow Don to the ends of the earth. That is their dynamic.”
