Cheney denies outing CIA agent
Documents from the May 8, 2004, interview were released Friday by the FBI after a lawsuit from Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a non-profit group.
Cheney's denial of any role in the outing of CIA agent Valerie Wilson appeared to conflict with the 2007 testimony of his chief of staff, I. Lewis Libby Jr., who was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice, The New York Times reported Saturday. Libby's sentence was commuted by then President George W. Bush.
During the interview, Cheney said he could not remember how or when he learned of Wilson's identity and could not remember discussing it with Libby or other White House officials, The Washington Post reported Saturday.
The White House leak about Wilson's identify embarrassed Bush and Cheney, whose role has been a mystery, The Post reported.

John Smith, There is a difference between Haliburton, and Blackwater, and ACORN!! ACORN threatens our freedom to vote! The former only are cheating the taxpayers out of money! Same as all the politicans! We can get more money---but ACORN will steal the COUNTRY!

CIA agent????
As I remember the Name was Valerie Plane, where did Wilson come from? And The CIA has thousands of employees, bookeepers, statisticians, anaylysts, communication experts, accountants, janitors, and even Ect. Not many can be called "Agents" or even "operatives"! I believe that woman was identifyed as an anaylyst! Remember Klinton outed almost a thousand AGENTS and caused most to be killed or imprisoned! That set our intelligence back 20 years! Of course the leftist media glossed over that, and now denies it! That said----I don't like Cheney either!

So, he can't remeber outing the agent! Well, I for one am not surprised. He never did appear too overly bright. I imagine he has forgotten much. Besides, wasn't he just a figurehead for the military industrial complex. As such he was a success.....the debt goes on.
