Curious cat gets head stuck in shower drain

CESSNOCK, Australia (UPI) -- A cat in Australia had to be rescued from a shower drain after its inspection of the drain left its head stuck in the tile bathroom floor.
Cessnock District Rescue Squad shared photos of the curious cat after members Doug and Paul arrived to rescue the trapped feline.
"Kiba the cat had become well and truly stuck after some kind of investigation into the drain went wrong," the CDRS said.
The rescuers removed the drainage socket from the tile floor to make Kiba more comfortable before using tools to free the cat from the drain.
Once free from the drain the damp and frightened cat was returned to its grateful owner.
