Mastroianni and Hart
Created by Johnny Hart in 1958, the award-winning BC appears in over 1,000 newspapers worldwide. Mason Mastroianni, Hart’s grandson, took over the helm in 2007 when Hart passed away. Mason, the 33 year old BC cartoonist and head-writer, along with 29 year old co-writer and younger brother Mick, bring a new twist to this classic comic. An iconic strip that charms its readers daily with its lighthearted humor and insights into the human condition, BC is now gaining a new generation of readers. With the introduction of the dog character, Wolf, BC now appeals to an even wider audience. BC characters are internationally recognized through the comic strip, TV specials, merchandise and published collections.
