DENVER — The Vegas Golden Knights scored twice in just over two minutes in the third period to come back and win 3-1 over the Colorado Avalanche in Game 2 of the Western Conference final at Ball Arena on Friday.

Center Jack Eichel scored his first goal since Game 3 of the first round at 9:15 to tie it 1-1, then Ivan Barbashev scored the go-ahead goal 2:07 later.

Barbashev added the empty-netter with 1:03 to go to seal it.

The Knights lead the series 2-0. Game 3 is at T-Mobile Arena at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Goaltender Carter Hart followed a masterful performance in Game 1 with 29 saves. He kept it a 1-0 game until his teammates broke through.
