NEW YORK — The New York Knicks, fresh off their first NBA Championship since 1973, are heading from the court to the “Tonight Show” as part of their long-awaited victory lap.

The Knickerbockers’ Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, as well as Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges and Head Coach Mike Brown — and “the rest of the Knicks team & more” — will appear on the Jimmy Fallon-hosted NBC show Monday night.

“IT’S A @nyknicks TAKEOVER!” the show announced Sunday of the episode meant to “celebrate their big win,” along with “an audience full of Knicks superfans!”

“Jimmy& Roots& Knicks& Wu,” reads a joint post from Brooklyn native Fallon, 51.

The Staten Island-formed Wu Tang Clan performed at Madison Square Garden last week at the halftime performance of Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

It was after the halftime performance that The Knicks, previously trailing 29 points behind the San Antonio Spurs, made history, when Anunoby pulled off the biggest Finals comeback in the history of the league, scoring 107-106 with just over one second left on the clock.

Speaking to TMZ after the bombshell game, Wu leader RZA said, “I said it pregame and Method Man said it at halftime, ‘Knicks in 5.’ … We just need to win. … They win in San Antonio, we’ll party when they come home.”

The Knicks ultimately clinched the championship title on Game 5 Saturday, winning 94-90 against the Spurs, despite the latter’s home court advantage at Frost Bank Center.
