SAN FRANCISCO — The family section in the lower bowl of Oracle Park has been plenty rowdy over the last 24 hours.

On Friday, it was Braxton Roxby throwing a perfect 1-2-3 inning in his major-league debut. On Saturday afternoon, Seth Lonsway tossed two innings in his first taste of big-league action. And finally, on Saturday evening, there was Yunior Marte, who allowed one run over 4 1/3 innings as the San Francisco Giants beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-2 in Game 2 to split the doubleheader and four-game series.

Roxby, Lonsway and Marte are the 12th, 13th and 14th players to make their debuts for the Giants this season. With a full month remaining, San Francisco could match the franchise record for most debuts in a single season (16), if not exceed that mark entirely.

Bryce Eldridge continued to swing a hot bat by totaling four hits and four RBIs, both of which matched his career highs. Over his last 15 games, Eldridge is hitting .327/.382/.582 with four homers and 14 RBIs. Rafael Devers also contributed two hits and two RBIs.

Marte, acquired in last year’s trade that sent Mike Yastrzemski to the Kansas City Royals, was promoted to the Giants directly from Double-A Richmond, where he had a 3.92 ERA over 13 starts with 72 strikeouts over 64 1/3 innings.

“He’s gotten stronger as the year has gone on I think physically a little bit,” said manager Tony Vitello on Friday. “The ball jumps out of his hand. He’s got a good fastball and he’s made a lot of progress. To be honest with you, it’s awesome for him. It’s a quick chain of events that take place. It’s kind of like (Jonah Cox) getting his chance all of a sudden right out of the chute.”
