Florida police seek robbers in 'Freddie' and 'Scream' masks

(UPI) Authorities in Florida are trying to identify two suspects who committed armed robberies while wearing "Freddie Krueger" and Scream masks.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post that it is working together with the Ocala Police Department to attempt to identify two people who wore "distinguishing masks" during a series of robberies.
The duo committed robberies at a Pizza Hut Oct. 16 and at a Krystals store on Wednesday. The masked suspects were also blamed for an attempted robbery at a Super 8 Motel on Wednesday.
"One suspect wears a 'Freddy Krueger' mask and the other wears a Scream mask," the sheriff's office said. In all of the incidents, one is armed and threatens the employees while the other gathers currency in a bag.
Investigators said an undetermined amount of money was stolen during the robberies and the Super 8 Motel managed to foil the pair by locking the doors before they entered.
