(UPI) A paper airplane thrown during the England-Slovakia qualifying match for the World Cup received the loudest cheer of the night when it cruised into a goal.
A video taken during Thursday night's soccer game at Wembley Stadium shows a paper airplane thrown from high in the stands slowly gliding down to the field.
The plane flutters toward the goal, eliciting excited shouts from the crowd, and crosses the goal line.
Witnesses said the cheer when the plane went into the goal was the loudest of the evening.
The filmer said the crowd had been bored due to the score being tied at 0-0 at the time of the incident. England eventually won a 1-0 victory, qualifying the team for the World Cup.
