(UPI) Scottish band Belle and Sebastian accidentally left their drummer behind in North Dakota after stopping at a local Walmart.

The band incited laughter and concern from its fans after frontman Stuart Murdoch tweeted drummer Richard Colburn had been left behind as the other members made their way to Minnesota.

"We left Richard in North Dakota," Murdoch wrote. Anyone want to be a hero and get him to St. Paul, Minnesota somehow. The gig hangs in the balance.

A representative from the band's label Matador Records was able to provide few details about the situation on Tuesday night.

"He was left at a service station; that's all I know," the representative told the Star Tribune.

Murdoch said the band made a pit stop at the Walmart in Dickson when six of the seven band members made their way back onto the tour bus leaving Colburn behind.

The drummer was left stranded at the superstore in his pajamas after he left his phone and wallet on the bus.

"He had a credit card, but he still sat in Walmart for four hours," Murdoch said. He was thinking we were going to notice.

About two hours after Murdoch's initial tweet, he shared an update that Colburn had been located and was being transported to Minnesota for the show.

"We're getting him in a car to Bismarck, a flight to Minneapolis," he said. We should be ok for tonight.
