Idaho man frees deer with head caught in barrel hole

POCATELLO, Idaho (UPI) -- An Idaho man had to wrestle with a deer to free its head from a large blue barrel and the moment was caught on video.
The video, captured by Tyler Peterson and posted to Facebook by Xtreme Idaho, shows a man struggling to get the deer to stay still so he can help free its head from the barrel in a field south of Pocatello.
The man wrestles with the deer until the animal is on the ground, allowing the man to enlarge the hole in the barrel.
Once freed, the deer runs away without apparent injuries.
Some Facebook users suggested the barrel might have been used as a feeder and had a hole that was too large, allowing the deer to fit its whole head through and end up stuck.
