Bjork. Bjork, one of Iceland's most famous musicians, wore a dress that looked like a swan to the 2000 Oscar Awards Ceremony.

Owen Morris. Both "Definitely Maybe" and "What's the Story Morning Glory" were co-produced by Noel Gallagher and Owen Morris.

Minutemen. "Double Nickels On the Dime" was a humorous response to Sammy Hagar's "I Can't Drive 55".

Green Day. In 1988 Green Day was formed by Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt, along with Al Sobrante (who left soon after that).

Carly Simon. Carly Simon's father, Richard Simon, co-founded the Simon and Schuster publishing company.
