Obama does U-turn on Clinton presidency

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Barack Obama praises the U.S. economy under former President Bill Clinton, a turnabout from when he battled Clinton's wife in the primaries, a strategist says.

"We need to do what we did in the 1990s and make sure people's incomes are going up and not down," Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee, said during a recent rally in Philadelphia. "We need to do what a guy named Bill Clinton did in the 1990s and put people first again."

Obama's comments about Clinton's presidency differ from ones he made during the Democratic primaries, when he was running against Clinton's wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton, The Boston Globe reported Friday. Obama argued Bill Clinton let some of the country's biggest problems worsen despite economic successes the country enjoyed during his presidency.

Bill Carrick, a strategist who worked on both of Clinton' presidential campaigns, said his legacy was awkward for both Hillary Clinton and Obama in the primaries, the Globe said. It was tricky for Hillary Clinton because she didn't want to praise all of his efforts while Obama couldn't offer wholesale criticism.

Now, "Senator Obama probably has a much higher comfort level saying, 'Look, we were going gangbusters in the '90s, and here, what happened?'," Carrick said.

Acorn registers people for all parties. There hasn't been any "voter fraud" because we have not yet voted. Acorn does not control voting they only are involved in registering people. It is not illegal to register 72 times because you only get one vote. The last registration you fill out is the one that is used. Also did you know that Acorn can not throw away any registrations, the law requires that they be turned in. So Acorn presorts them into 3 categories #1 Good #2 missing information or incomplete #3 questionable (Mickey mouse) and turns them into the state. It is up to the state to verify the registrations, usually by cross checking driver’s license and social security information. And lastly if the application gets thru the process of checking by the state then you have to show id to actually vote. If for some reason all the checks and balances don't work there can only be "voter fraud" after someone actually votes.

PS Here is a little fact for you there is a Disney fan who actually legally changed his name to Mickey Mouse.

I don't know where you live, I assume Florida, but this fact was reported in the newspaper in PA, and also on our local news channel. Maybe it didn't make the national news, because he only registered about 15 fake Republicans. However, the Sunday paper was reporting today that the ACORN fake registrations were a mix of both Republican and Democrat. Why is it that you can quote facts from anything you hear, but everyone else who states facts are some absurd liar?

Isn't it strange that your information hasn't been plastered all over by the bias media. Nice try, but ACORN has been registering ONLY Democrat votes. They are supposed to be nonpartisan, but they are definitely far left loons.

A man was arrested in my area for writing false voter registrations. He worked for ACORN, and his registrations were for Republicans.

Clinton versus Obama

I am starting to wonder if ACORN's fraudulent voter registration didn't have something to do with Hillary losing to Obama? ACORN has been involved in voter fraud since 2004.

Of course, the voter fraud issue will make people wonder, "IF" Obama gets elected, whether or not he really won fair and square.

I am really surprised that Obama supporters don't question Obama's connection to ACORN and the voter registration fraud. Just another question about this man that goes unanswered.
