Celebrity Travel: Go Away With Rev Run

By Jae-Ha Kim, Tribune Content Agency on

A. It's always fun. I don't remember going on a trip that wasn't. I'm one of those people who actually loves everything about traveling, including the days leading up to it. The anticipation is part of the fun. Three days before a trip, I might be at the mall buying a shirt from Tommy Bahamas. I like getting all the stuff ready for the plane -- my music and headphones. It all plays into the experience.

Q. When you have time off from work, do you prefer to stay home or travel?

A. Travel! I have wanderlust. When the weather is bad, I get the urge to leave New York, even though I love New York. I just got home last night from Dallas and I want to go somewhere right now.

Q. If you could travel anywhere for a month, where would it be?

A. Hmmm. Let's go all out. If I had Bill Gates' money, I'd get a yacht and go from place to place. I'd land in St. Martin and get a boat there and sail to St. Barts and stay for five days. Then I would go out to maybe Antigua and travel around from there to what looked good.

Q. Where is the most romantic destination?

A. Hawaii with my wife. I remember eating late nights at Spago at the Four Seasons Hotel when it was first built. We had our honeymoon there.

Q. What are some of your favorite cities?
