EatingWell: Glazed walnuts add sweet crunch to hearty salad

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

For the salad:

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon butter

 

1 cup walnuts

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
