We will finish off our remembrance of Tal with a nice kingside attack. See if you can plan it out the way he did.

Solution:

As with most Tal lines they have all sorts of wild sidelines that we can’t go into. So, here are a few: 1.Nf6+ gxf6 [1...Kh8 2.Nxh7 Rd8 3.Nf6 g6 4.Rh4+ Kg7 5.Qc1 Ng8 6.Ra1 Qxa1 7.Rh7+ Kf8 8.Qxa1 Nxf6 9.exf6 Kg8 10.Rg7+ Kf8 11.Qa3+ Ke8 12.Qe7#] 2.Bxh7+ Kh8 [2...Kxh7 3.Qh5+ (3.exf6 Nf5 4.Rb3) 3...Kg8 4.Rg1 Rd8 (4...fxe5 5.Rh4) 5.exf6 Kf8 (5...Ng6 6.Qh6) 6.fxe7+ Kxe7 7.Rxf7+ Kd6 8.Qc5#] 3.Rh4 Kg7 4.Qc1 Ng8 5.Bxg8 Qxb1 [5...Kxg8 6.Rb3] 6.Qxb1 Rxg8 7.Qc1 Kf8 8.Qa3+ Ke8 9.exf6 Kd7 10.Rh3 Re8 11.Rc3 b6 12.Qa4+ Kd8 13.Qc6 Rb8 14.Qc7#
