Black cat runs onto field before English soccer match

LIVERPOOL, England (UPI) -- A curious cat sought to take part in the action by running onto the field in advance of an English Premier League soccer match on Monday night.
Manchester United's Twitter account shared video of the black cat, as it scurried on to the field in advance of their match against Liverpool, causing some distress from superstitious fans.
"Pre-match pitch invasion at Anfield," the team wrote, alongside a cat emoji.
The cat ran on the field for just less than a minute before scurrying off and avoiding capture.
