VIDEO: Florida man captures lightning strike on Gainesville Wendy's

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (UPI) -- A Florida man taking video of a Gainesville rainstorm captured the moment lightning apparently struck a Wendy's fast food restaurant.
Hollin Hoffman said in a YouTube post he was taking video of the rainstorm to share with friends on Snapchat when lightning struck and appeared to hit the Wendy's restaurant in the background of the video.
Hoffman said in a comment the video was taken Sunday near the Wendy's location in Gainesville.
Hoffman apologized for the black bars at the sides of the video, saying it was created for Snapchat, where "vertical is the proper orientation."
