Lunar Breakthroughs

Holiday Mathis on

Two lunar conjunctions follow up the Venus change bringing consecutive breakthroughs, first theoretical then physical. Our perception of situations changes while the facts of the circumstance are still the same. But seeing things differently makes them different, and the changes soon manifest on a material level.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You have a knack for stirring curiosity and capturing imagination. The best part is, it's easy for you -- a raised eyebrow, a mysterious text, a finger point to the horizon, and suddenly you have a rapt audience.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). There are no one-offs today because each interaction has some kind of carry-over that will affect your future. The people you meet have the potential to be fixtures in your social landscape for the next few chapters.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Even though you appreciate the effort people go to in the name of making a good impression on you, you prefer to know the real person behind all the filters. In this spirit, you'll go first and reveal an honest side of you.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). When you accept yourself for who you are, flaws and all, the grace naturally extends to others. With increased tolerance, life feels easy. When life feels easy, more is possible and adventures seem doable. It all comes from self-love.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). One person sees a big dog as a threat. Another sees the same dog as a friend. Either one could be right. You'll adjust to how others perceive things. From that shared point of view, you will lead the way to a new vision.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). There's no such thing as pointless chatter because with careful listening skills, small talk is a window to an entire world of knowledge. It does take discernment to know the right questions to open up the treasure trove.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Life hands you the amount that will fit in your bag. So bring a bag that's easy to carry. If you want a lot out of life, bring a suitcase, but make sure it has those wheels that swivel and make it easy for you to turn on a dime.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You'll give practical matters a fanciful flare and bring fantasy into even the most mundane reality. Tonight: just because you strike a compromise doesn't mean you're settling.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). What you do to make the environment more pleasant for yourself will improve things for others too, so don't hesitate to speak up with your ideas or to ask for creature comforts. One interaction can change everything.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You value the truth, but that's not the same as wanting to know everything. There's an art to sticking to the parts that interest or concern you, and it involves sensing what you can do something about and tolerating a degree of mystery.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). When you're the teacher, it's good to let students know the hard work that goes into a process. As for your customers, audience and dates, you'll benefit from creating the illusion of effortlessness.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Even though you're a serious person, you approach your social life with lightness, humor and the fun energy that keeps the action moving, the characters changing and the good vibes radiating.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April 6). Life will dance with enlivening paradox: commitments that free you, work that activates your most playful impulses. More highlights: You'll be paid handsomely to solve a puzzle, perfectly suited to your talent. You'll often be surrounded by exciting, creative people including your favorite. Travel makes your spirit dance. Sagittarius and Virgo adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 1, 16, 32, 21 and 45.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Amid Paul Rudd's roster of blockbuster sequels -- "Ghostbusters," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Avengers" -- are gems to shine his love of comedy: "Friends," "The Invite" and "Death of a Unicorn." The Aries actor, screenwriter and producer exemplifies the passionate fire of his sign with the trademark Aries qualities of spontaneity and youthfulness on tap.
