Kate Middleton and Prince William are sharing a birthday portrait the Princess of Wales snapped of their youngest child, Prince Louis, in honor of his sixth birthday — just over a month after royal Photoshop snafu.

The Prince and Princess of Wales posted the portrait Tuesday. In it, Louis beams at the camera as he lies down on a picnic blanket.

“Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today,” the couple captioned the photo, adding that Kate, 42, had taken it.

The photo comes just weeks after Kate took the blame for a photoshopped image of her with Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George. The picture was posted in honor of Mother’s Day, which in the U.K. is celebrated in March.

“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing,” Kate said after the image had been pulled by multiple media outlets for manipulation. “I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day.”

The photo came amid weeks of conspiracy theories about Kate’s well-being, after she underwent abdominal surgery in mid-January and Kensington Palace said she’d likely be out of commission until after Easter.

Once the photo — the first official image of Kate following her operation — was determined to be manipulated, concern that all was not as it seemed with the princess reached a fever pitch. This speculation was only exacerbated by Buckingham Palace only issuing health updates about King Charles, who had been hospitalized at the same time as his daughter-in-law, and subsequently diagnosed with cancer.

Kate addressed the public in a video late last month, revealing that doctors found cancer following her surgery and that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy, per their advice.
