There is an old saying "Dogs have owners, cats have servants" and I am here to tell you there has never been a truer statement. Our feline partners are often nonchalant about their owners, but it is a ruse. Cats do need us and to be a good cat owner you must understand the dynamics of cat happiness. We will discover together the keys to a happy cat.

Toys! Toys are a must for any happy cat owner. They come in a variety of shapes, colors and sometimes even sounds. You can find isles of goodies for your feline friend in a pet store or you can makeshift your own special kitty delights from household items. Just remember safety comes first and if you have rambunctious kitties like I do, that can sometimes be a chore in itself. Cats have a naturally curious behavior so it is essential that you have some gadgets and gizmo's around to occupy those feisty felines. The inclination to swat, claw, scratch and chase is very natural and should be explored to its fullest. Everything from small mice stuffed with their favorite catnip to gloves with extra long fingers that are great for chasing. They even enjoy the simplest of games such as chasing a small beam of light across a wall. Keeping your cat mentally and physically active will ensure joy for both pet and owner.

Treats, every pets favorite word. Cats have refined tastes and because they have very defined personalities it may take a little research to find the perfect cat treat. Catnip is one of the most sought after cat delectables, it comes in as many varieties and forms of consumption as any cat could possibly dream of during their cat nap. Another big hit is the treat that comes filled with scrumptious flavors, "does it has flavor?' rings true for your feline companion as they savor every morsel. Treats often come with health beneficial perks, a healthy kitty is a happy kitty.

The #1 "Happy Cat" must, love. Lots and lots of love and affection from you! Your cat will enjoy hours of your attention. This will make your cat's motor run more than any treat or toy can every possibly bring. The security of this mutual affection will give you and your beloved feline the happiness you both desire. So get out and pet that cat!
