Golden Knights shut out for 2nd straight game in loss to Mammoth

LAS VEGAS — The Vegas Golden Knights were shut out for the second straight game in a 4-0 loss to the Utah Mammoth at T-Mobile Arena on Thursday.
Utah goaltender Karel Vejmelka finished with 28 saves, two days after Buffalo Sabres goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen had a 28-save shutout in a 2-0 loss.
The Knights (31-24-14) finished 2-2 on their four-game homestand after scoring 10 goals in their first two games.
Goaltender Adin Hill was pulled after allowing three goals on Utah’s first three shots.
Mammoth captain Clayton Keller scored the first two, and winger Jack McBain pushed the lead to three at 8:12.
Akira Schmid stopped all 14 shots he faced in relief.
The Knights have gone their last 147 minutes, 9 seconds without a goal.
