The Minnesota Timberwolves pulled off an impressive 1117-107 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night at Toyota Center in Houston.

In a game that was close all night, with 26 lead changes, Ayo Dosunmu (21 points) and Bones Hyland (19) scored in bunches early on to keep the Wolves in the fight.

Ultimately though, it was a fourth-quarter surge from LaMelo Ball (20 points) and Jonathan Kuminga (16), paired with the Wolves’ defense and hustle, that gave them a late lead for their second straight victory.

The Rockets and star Kevin Durant (team-high 21 points) were 7-1 coming into the game, and the Wolves, without Anthony Edwards (right knee surgery) or Terrence Shannon Jr. (hip contusion) were able to take down one of the Western Conference leaders.

The Wolves are now 6-3 on the season, and 3-2 since Edwards was injured. Their next game is Friday at New Orleans.
