LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Aces are finalizing an agreement to re-sign guard Jackie Young, ESPN reported Thursday.
Young, a four-time All-Star and the WNBA’s Most Improved Player in 2022, will reportedly return on a one-year deal for the regular max which increased to $1.19 million under the new CBA.
Sources told the Review-Journal that Young didn’t take meetings with other teams — not even the Chicago Sky, which is led by former Aces assistant Tyler Marsh. He was key in her development as a scorer, and she is now one of the best two-way guards in the league.
Young averaged 16.5 points, 5.1 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game in 2025. She contributed multiple clutch plays to keep the Aces’ run to the WNBA title alive.
The Aces also announced on Thursday that forward Kierstan Bell agreed to re-sign with the team. That deal is a non-guaranteed contract on the league minimum.
