Browns' Brian Hoyer works with first team again

The Browns reinserted quarterback Brian Hoyer into their first-team offense Tuesday, a day after rookie Johnny Manziel took snaps with the starters for the first time.

Browns coach Mike Pettine said it was "all part of the plan." On Monday, Pettine said, "there's a more than reasonable chance" that Hoyer will start the preseason opener Saturday night at Detroit.

Hoyer is listed as the No. 1 quarterback on a depth chart the Browns unveiled Tuesday. In general, Pettine said the depth chart will be "very fluid."

Pettine has yet to officially name a starting quarterback for the weekend.

"We're going to meet on that," Pettine said. "We're going to set the reps, but I can't say anything definitive right now."
