Schoolbus strikes Colorado semi
The driver had to be extricated from the wreckage after the accident at the intersection of Colorado 34 and Yuma. Several students sustained minor to moderate injuries and all the injured taken to Yuma District Hospital, a Colorado State Patrol release said.
The truck tractor was eastbound on Colorado 34 making a left hand turn onto Yuma County Road "H" when his vehicle was struck by the school bus, which was also traveling eastbound, the report said. The Colorado State Patrol's Accident Reconstruction Team is analyzing the scene of the accident.
