Fun Wedding Themes:

Many people want their wedding to be a themed festive event. With a little planning and some creativity, this can be a great way to add some fun and originality to what would be a simple traditional wedding.

Below are some descriptions and suggestions for wedding themes and how to make them more authentic.

General guidelines:

  1. Remember, this is your wedding. Do what you want. Don't worry if your family or friends think your theme is silly.
  2. Choose the theme before sending invitations. (Pick invitations that match your theme)
  3. Don't over-do it. Remember the day is your wedding day and that should be the focus… not the giant Styrofoam castle your brother-in-law built.
  4. Let your guests know it will be a themed wedding. If you would like them to dress in line with the theme let them know in the invitation, but by no means require it.
