How long has there been transportation buy rickshaw?

The rickshaw was invented by the Reverend Jonathan Scobie, an American Baptist minister living in Yokohama, Japan. Rev. Scobie built the first model in 1869 in order to transport his invalid wife. Today it remains a common mode of transportation in the Orient.

Considering that this set of Trivia started with the abysmal geographic knowledge of American adults, I find it humorous that the author of this, particular tidbit evidently hasn't a clue about the difference between "buy" and "by". One shudders to think what they might do to the triple threat of "to", "too", and "two"!
