Kingsmill features family activities such as golf, tennis and water sports. The resort is located only 10 minutes from Jamestown and only three minutes from popular theme parks Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Colonial Williamsburg is also right around the corner from Kingsmill.

Williamsburg Inn

Location: Colonial Williamsburg
The elegant Williamsburg Inn is known for its English Regency style art, nice (and pricey) restaurants and its prime location to Colonial Williamsburg attractions. It also features family activities such as golf, tennis, fitness club and spa.

The Williamsburg Lodge

Location: Colonial Williamsburg
The Williamsburg lodge is located in easy walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. It shares many of the same services as the nearby and more elegant Williamsburg Inn.

Woodlands Hotel and Suites

Location: Long walk or short shuttle ride from Colonial Williamsburg
Located among beautiful trees, scenery (not amenities) is Woodlands biggest attraction. A nature trail makes for a nice walk to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown is only 10 to 15 minutes driving distance.

The Governor's Inn
Rating: 2 Star
Room Rates: Around $100

Location: Three Blocks from Colonial Williamsburg
The rates at this hotel are the most reasonable for a hotel stay near Colonial Williamsburg. The site shares some facilities with the Woodlands hotel.

Colonial Gardens Bed and Breakfast

Location: A few miles from Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg
This bed and breakfast has rooms big enough for small families, but is marketed more toward couples. The location is very central but will likely still require a vehicle to get to sites.
