Rick Steves' Europe
Rick Steves, the celebrated writer of "Rick Steves' Europe," started his career teaching travel classes at the University of Washington. Over the years, he expanded his work into travel guides such as "Europe Through the Back Door," focusing on recreating authentic travel experiences while saving money. Today, Steves' company employs both professional and freelance tour guides, publishes 25 guidebooks, and has more than 300 tour departures per year. He has now published a total of 30 European travel books, as well as writing a weekly column and hosting, writing, and producing his own PBS series of the same title.
