Man fired over Pledge of Allegiance button
Trevor Keezer, 20, a cashier, said he wore the button at work for 19 months and heard no negative comments until he started to bring his Bible to work last month.
"That's when I was told it had to come off, or I would be sent home. So they sent me home for six straight days without pay. And then today they terminated me," Keezer Sunday told WPTV, West Palm Beach, Fla.
Keezer says the quote "One nation under God, indivisible," taken from the Pledge of Allegiance, is his way of expressing his Christian faith and supporting U.S. soldiers at war. His brother, Steven Keezer Jr., is due to deploy to Iraq for second tour of duty.
The Home Depot's dress code does not allow "non-company buttons, regardless of their message or content," company spokesman Craig Fishel said.

This has nothing to do with someone's faith. It has to do with rules and regulations, that Home Depot has set forth. If NON-COMPANY buttons, are not allowed, then they are not allowed, period.

. . the world has hated them, because they are no part of the world, just as I (Jesus) am no part of the world.
