I take personal offense to the comment from "wrote" that I am not a born-again Christian simply because of my political views -- I have accepted Jesus into my heart as my personal Saviour and Lord, and I DON'T believe that my political beliefs conflict at all with my Christian beliefs -- as my Bible states, "Judge not, lest ye also be judged in the same manner . . " Better watch out, "wrote," God sees all and knows all . . . .

Take away their tax free status and they will 'find' the Lord again.

What we have seen of the religious right's campaign of the past 30-some years bears no resemblance to, and often contradicts, Christ's teachings. Compassion, charity, humility and peace are all essential Christian values. The strangest thing to come out of the religious right/neoconservative movement has been its utter contempt for the very concept of "namby-pamby" compassion. We can't overlook Christ's teachings about the poor and powerless. He pointed out that however we treat "the least of these," that is how we treat Him. And what has come out of the Christian right is some very harsh, cruel and ugly treatment!

Progressive and liberal Christians are not born again they dont KNOW JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR.......
