Yea, this is a "nice progress" . . a socialist agenda . . where the police take control of everything . . Then U will see, but will be too late . . It's an abuse for the police to come on a church property and ask for . . trouble . .

Without police, there would be chaos in this country. That minister should not have been involved. We should have respect for our officers.

Right after I moved into my house, I found that this one cop was using my driveway as a hideout for a speed trap. I told him to get off my property and stay off. I don't need the liability. If he would have gone on a chase and someone got killed, I'd be the one getting sued. Ever since, he's been trying to get me on something, with no results, since, except for my politically incorrect thoughts, I'm an upstanding, law-abiding citizen -- and I'm buddy-buddy with every other cop in town.

I don't know if the news about the death of a man from Poland after being tasered by the RCMP at Vancouver Int'l Airport. I know that nearly everyone I speak to condemns the use of tasers by police (although I don't hold the same opinion).
I think that there would have be a much higher price to pay if the officer had pulled his gun in this situation. Even if you think you are being wrongly arrested or charged, it would seem safer to me if I obey what the police officer is telling me to do.

law and order
Don't flount the law if you do not plan on paying the price. And don't pull out religion or race or anything else to justify bad behavior.
I am tired of politicians and every other "group" expecting special attention. And no, I am not a cop nor a member of a special interest group. I just obey the rules and thereby get no tickets.

Police
Police have a responsibility to enforce the law everywhere. There is no reason for that minister to have been involved in the situation. I'm a retired police officer and I can relate to a similar circumstance where a "minister" asked me to take my radar set up to a different location as a few of his congregation had received tickets for speeding through the playground adjacent to this church. My reaction to him was polite but firm and he received a warning when he stood in the middle of the road waving his hands fanatically at oncoming traffic.
