McCain thinks he has a chance. HA! HA! Everyone in this country wants change. Everyone hates Bush! The college vote is liberal, they have been taught that way. Obama has promised virtually nothing other than change! Our 90%+ black vote will make history! We have waited decades to have a black president! I don't care if he is lacking in leadership, experience, knowledge, or even if he is a Muslim. He is black and he is going to be our next president! Go Obama Go!

As a very cranky senior I am very unhappy that some of these so called well iformed people will vote for a 72 year old man.Guys,please!Mccain is too old for the job! Suppose he dies in office?Who will lead us? CHeney? WHat is this obsession we have with this old man? People-wake up! No one knows what Obama is really for except abortion and gays. He doesn't make himslef clear on any issues.As some people have said he speeks with forked tongue. Of corse Obama has the best structured campaign, he was brought up through the Chicago Political Mafia, as I have heard, on some of the news shows.

My take is a little different than Crone's. For Obama it would be a waste of time. While I would like to watch, I fear that it would be a little like watching the current boxing champion beating up on his grandfather---just too embarassing and certainly not fun.

Crone, I don't think you've been listening very well. McCain is a nice man, but definitely not up on economics (as he admits) and his experience as a POW (while admirable) gave him no special insight into this era of our history. All of this is followed by the fact that he has never been known for being able to articulate his views on anything.

Obama has the youth, the charisma, the intelligence, the education and the just plain street smarts (which, incidentally, he learned on the streets of Chicago) combined with the oratorical ability seldom seen anywhere. He is a formidable candidate and I firmly believe that you are grossly underestimating him.

Finally - one of the places to look for a preview of anyone's ability to lead is at their campaign structure, etc. Obama has the best organization seen in American politics - there is simply no question about that! Everyone 'in the know' thought Hillary would out-organize Obama, but look what happened! And, those donating to his campaign are mostly folks who have never contributed to any campaign before.

Republicans, get to work! And, be very afraid-----
