Use a Kitchen Timer to Motivate
Use a Kitchen Timer to Motivate
Tip submitted by Karen H. Brinkman of St. Petersburg, Florida
When you are having trouble getting your kids to follow directions, get out a kitchen timer and set it for a few minutes. If they do not do what they are supposed to do under a time limit, do not allow them to take advantage of a privelege. I recommend this technique for kids aged 2 to 9.
