Display Your Child's Artwork
To help motivate kids about their school work, make a photo album, scrap book, art work book, portfolio, or collage out of their school projects. Select one special piece to be used as the cover and do an 'about the artist' and artist autograph section!
Options to make a book of artwork:
-- Place artwork pieces in plastic lined photo albums
-- Paste or tape artwork pieces into a scrap book
-- Bind artwork pieces together using sheet protectors
-- Paste, tape or laminate artwork pieces over the pages of an old magazine or catalog
* For each option, a special piece of artwork can be used, or purposely created, to be used as the cover page noting something about the 'artist' and 'artist autograph' (your child will love this part).
PORTFOLIO: Use a regular flip chart and paste or tape the artwork to the pages -- front and back can be used.
COLLAGE: Instead of or in addition to piling artwork on the the refrigerator, several pieces can be made into a collage by gluing or laminating the art onto a large display board.
-- Make collage book covers.
-- One whole wall of a child's bedroom or a play room can be used solely to display artwork.
-- Cover a door or part of a window with a collage.
-- Frame the collage.
-- The collage can also be made into table placemats or floor mats.
-- Have the collage photographed and made into a magnet, t-shirt, or a number of other items that can be personalized with a photo.
