I have loved the Riley segment of Mutts lately, and I cried when Riley found a loving home. This a story that touched my heart. Thank you! Thankfully we are rescuing pets more than ever thanks to reminders like Riley.

We have a "happy ending shelter story" too... almost 5 years ago, we adopted a dog from the animal shelter and now he's spoiled rotten. He prefers the end of the couch to sleep on so he can be the "watch dog" and see out the front door. He always has lots of food, treats, love and attention... He gets several walks every day, and he's a hoot to play with!

I have a shelter story with a happy ending. I adopted a Chocolate Lab/German Short Hair mix last summer. Very nice dog.
