I think this is a lot funnier to Protestants than to Catholics. We have a sense of humor, but we'd probably find it funnier if whoever wrote the joke had realized that a bishop and an arch-bishop are the same thing, just that an arch-bishop is head of an arch-diocese, which just gets its name because it's somehow important to Catholic history.
